A day in Brussels

  Travel blog part 2 This morning we traveled back to Brussels and checked in to our new room in the outskirts, it´s a small apartment and the windows are facing a small, old alley. If we look down on the street, we often see cats and if we look up we can see birds sitting on the power lines. Avenue Louise We started the day of by walking down on one of the most famous streets in Brussels, Avenue Louise, the whole street was filled with small street markets, clothing shops and small, sweet cafes. We ended up trying Belgium’s famous French fries with mayonnaise and they were as delicious as told. After that we went shopping for a bit and just walking around and adoring the surrounding, around one or two pm we were craving for lunch, so we hopped in on a restaurant because that one smelled sweet. Our trip to Spa

Our trip to Spa Today was our first real day here in Belgium, yesterday we flew down here from Arlanda, Stockholm and it took about 2,5 hours.  We changed from a flight to a train to get down here, to Spa, a small, beautiful city with tons of old buildings and monuments, such as  Eglise Saint-Remacle , an old an gorgeous church.   We started of the day by walking down a few of the older streets, looking in small shops and cafés. We ended up staying in a small restaurant where we tried their national dish who´s called Waterzooi and is a stew dish who were originally made with fish, but nowadays it´s more common with chicken, it also includes vegetables such as carrots, onions and potatoes and other soup ingredients. It was rather tasty and very satiating but nothing neither of us would make at home, it was just a fun onetime thing. After an interesting forenoon with long walks and a satiating lunch we went to our final destination for the day, the Circuit de Spa-Franc...
